Pongaroa VIII
My last weekend up there...for a while at least...we spent three nights...and it was hard to go...but lovely to stay...
Walked to Mangatiti Falls through a welcoming farmer's land, a few sheep pastures, one with bulls, and another with bullocks. Lovely, eh?

A Friday Night in Wellington
Starting at Leuven, the Belgian beer bar, where I enjoyed dark beer with Jackie, Jo, and Penny...
...then on to Hede for lovely Japanese food, where Frith joined us:
...and Iain and Tero, my flatmates...and we drank just a bit of sake...
...and then onto Ponderosa, where Tero enjoyed his favorite beer...
...and the Tasting Room, where the beverages got a bit mixed up due to the early hour and our complete sobriety...Iain being the most sober of all...
